Vampire

I really, really, like the idea of templates in 3rd Ed, makes so much easier to do
mixed breeds without having to build an entirely new race. However, there are a few
which I like, but dissagree with how D&D has stated them out.
Those templates of WotC's that I alter (exception being the Half-Breeds, as they
have their own page) show up here. They are owned by WotC and not by me, I am
merely posting my alterations, nothing more.

The following changes apply to the Vampire template:
Special Qualities:
Vampires have no Energy Drain ability.
Blood Drain: If a vampire pins a foe, it drains blood, inflicting 1d4 temporary
CON damage and one negative level each round the pin is maintained.
Create Spawn: In order to create another vampire, a vampire must drain their
chosen victim to death (reduce their CON to zero), then feed them a quantity of the
vampires own blood within an hour of death. The new Spawn rises as a vampire the next
dawn and while it has a mind of it's own, it must make a will roll with a difficulty
of 20 + hd of master + CHA bonus of master in order to disobey the master's wishes.
Charm: The vampire still may use Dominate as detailed, but it also has
the ability to cast Charm with the same caster level and range as it has for
Dominate. Both Charm and Dominate may be used on a vampire's own
Spawn with an additional +5 added to the DC of the save.
Weaknesses: Water poses no threat nor weakness to vampires.
Slaying a vampire: The only way to slay a vampire is to decapitate or burn completely
to ashes.
Alignment: No alignment restrictions apply.
Anything not addressed above remains unchanged.
