Adenar. Owner of the Waterspout Inn located on the harbour front of Starport's docks.
Arven, Hector, Lord. A direct descendent of the first Lord Arven who founded Arven Keep and the town of Arvenmere.
Astashar, Helani. One of the high mages of the Rainbow Tower.
Aurani. One of the group of Deathbringers sent in pursuit of Shadoki.

Bert and Ernie. The two miscreants who tried kidnap, for reasons unknown, the young woman Merisa Calam.
Brundall. Master of the kitchens at Lord Flumsbury's Starport residence.

Calam, Justin and Merisa. A young married couple of Starport's common folk. Thugs tried to kidnap Merisa until she was saved by Rapier, Rawn and Rogar. The reason for the attempted kidnap is still unknown.
Calimor, Targoth. A battle-hardened warrior who left the service of the Vordarian military after a mistake by it's command cost him his parents. Now, like his missing brother, Targoth has left his former life behind. Previously a player character.
Carrow, Edward. Owner of the Green Dragon Inn in Arvenmere.
Celeste. A wise woman living in the village of Naudlin. She is a herbalist and can cast predictions of people's futures by reading the stars.
Cobra, Lord. A shadowy figure from the underworld of the Thieve's Guild, Lord Cobra wears a dark blue hood emblazoned with a cobra and carries a cobra-headed walking stick. He is Kravak Vamon's boss.
Creoban. An assistant and archivist at the Starport Library.
Culmarin, Reon. One of the sons of Lord Culmarin, a highly respected and wealthy lord and a direct descendent of Pertak Culmarin, a royal prince from the old House of Culmarin that founded Redmarch.

D'Artane, Thomas. Used for evil since childhood by the Thieves Guild, Thomas broke the chain by killing his own father. Previously a player character.
Derz. A young warrior who is the personal bodyguard and assistant of the merchant Garin Quist.
Dragomyr, Jeram. Also known as Rapier. A young thief who also masquerades as a masked street entertainer. Previously a player character.
Dunst, Cedric. Deceased. A human paladin of Lumarha whose beloved mentor was murdered by thieves who stole his Order's sacred Sun Sword. Previously a player character.
Durgon, sergeant. A respected sergeant within the Starport City Guard and a powerful warrior of some note.

Elspeth. Owner of the Duck and Drake Inn in Arvenmere.
Elundi'al. Once a free spirit, Elundi'al was captured by a band of orcs and her powers and skills were misused by it's evil shaman. Now released from captivity Elundi'al seeks to do her goddess-given work in the world. Previously a player character.
Everwind, Elrana. A victim of the darker side of the Thieve's Guild, Elrana has taken a vow to revenge her dead father using both her mundane and magical skills, against the wishes of her dearest friend and guardian, the powerful mage Karinas. Previously a player character.

Fian, mistress. High priestess of the temple of Bez the Beast in Starport.
Firehammer, Agnar. Dwarf silversmith in the town of Arvenmere.
Flumsbury, Lord. An extremely wealthy lord and merchant who owns a thriving trading business. Lord Flumsbury has a place on the Redmarch High Council, which consists of the major nobles and statesmen of the country and is responsible for advising the Lord Protector, who is the country's elected ruler.
Flumsbury, Grindey. Younger sister of Lord Flumsbury and Pruvella Flumsbury.
Flumsbury, Pruvella. Younger sister of Lord Flumsbury and older sister of Grindey Flumsbury.
"Friendly Acquirer", the. A pawnbroker with a shop on Cedar Street. The Friendly Acquirer has a reputation for cordiality and for being able to "acquire" almost anything.

Ganrick. A caravan leader.
Goldfinch, Erasmus. A pawnbroker with a shop on Haymaker Square. Erasmus Golfinch also operates as a fence dealing with "hot" items and money although he is well known for not getting involved in anything that involves violence or harm to others.
Greenwillow, Netha. A halfling cleric at the temple of Sunamron the Wise in Starport. She also teaches at the Rainbow Tower.
Grentil. A thug affiliated with the Thieves Guild, particularly Kravak Vamon.

Hal, Riordan. Riordan had lived the happy and free life of the travelling Roumainai gypsy folk, until it was shattered when his true love was brutally murdered. Now he is on a quest to wreak a terrible vengeance. Previously a player character.
Heartseeker, Aelric. A tragic past spurred him to better himself but inner demons still drive Aelric towards his destiny as he follows the Hunt. Previously a player character.
Holbend, Darinsa, Lady. Widow of a wealthy Vordarian merchant lord and a long time friend and acquaintance of Riordan Hal.

Iriney, high priestess. High priestess of the temple of Quantaros the Pale Shadow in Starport. She judged Shadoki worthy of acceptance as a Servant of the Last Gate and he now reports to her as head of the Order.
Issha. A Sithakai lizardman and personal guard to Lord Phoebus.

Jacob. A boy of nine or ten who works as a Runner, or messenger, for the Thieves Guild.
Jolan, brother. A cleric at the temple of Quantaros the Pale Shadow in Starport.
Jont, Lariam. A half-elf and a master thief within the ranks of the Thieves Guild. A friend and former tutor of the man known as Rapier.

Kale, Josh. Captain of the Arvenmere town watch.
Killire, Bronno. A travelling cleric of the temple of Bez the Beast.
Kingfisher, Karinas. A respected mage in Starport and the legal guardian of Elrana Everwind.

Lastren, Simon, corporal. A dutiful, no nonsense and "by the book" officer of the Starport City Guard.
Lesmund. Owner of the Green Cart Inn located on Whitewater Street.
Lod. Very big, very strong, and very stupid. Lod is a thug in the employ of Grentil, and is a one man walking demolition team. He has a reputation for fighting and has left a long trail of broken arms, legs, ribs, and worse, in his wake.

Malagar, Dunnon, sir. Knight Commander of the Army of Redmarch.
Malken. The elder of the farming and fishing village of Naudlin.
Mirior. By virtue of his divided parentage he was marked as "Shebali" - outcast. His life as a drow slave and warrior changed when he escaped captivity and a kindly monk gave him a purpose in life. After helping to free Naudlin and returning to Starport it appears that Mirior has fallen foul of Lord Cobra. Previously a player character.
Moonsand, Pavashelle. A cleric of Attokin the Conqueror in Starport. She is one of the Second Swords of Attokin.
Mouren, brother. Deceased. The cleric at the shrine of Quantaros the Pale Shadow in Arvenmere.

Rorden, Branir. Deceased. The man who tried to kill Lady Darinsa Holbend. Killed by Bhruic Truebolt.
Rosie. A young girl of nine or ten who was prevented from pickpocketing when Mirior saw her activities in the Starport market district. The half-drow befriended the girl and she showed him a few of the city sights and helped him find an inn at which to stay. She has a brother, Marcus, who was a sailor before a crippling accident and she now steals to support them both.

Silvertongue, Rawn. A friendly bard who arrived in Starport hoping to find word of his missing uncle. Previously a player character.
Sonde, Alrik. A trader who operates out of Starport and sometime rival of Simon DuGree.
Stonecleaver, Rogar. A quiet and solemn young dwarf who journeyed to Starport to begin his quest to see the wonders of the world. Previously a player character.
Streka, Jerrick, captain. Captain of the Starport City Guard.
Strongarm, Grond. Dwarf owner of the Forger's Hammer Inn located in the market district.
Stumpy the Wooden Golem. A short, squat and barrel like magical construct of dark wood belonging to Igen Whiteshield. He acts as a check to prevent people bringing weapons into the Sunrise Inn and gestures to a table and orders them to "Put - weapon - here", whenever he sees armed people enter the inn. He has a sideline of preventing horses from entering the inn too - just ask Deris.

Suresteel, Mavik, sergeant. A well respected sergeant within the Starport City Guard. He often recruits adventurers to perform tasks that the Guard are either not equipped to deal with or are beyond their normal jurisdiction within the city.

Trander, Roland. Captain of the ship Seaswift on which Shadoki travelled to Starport when fleeing the Deathbringers, the Guild of Assassins.
Trant, Vendik. A thief at the temple of Gree the Trickster in Starport.
Truebolt, Bhruic. Once sure of his future and happiness, the tragedy that became known as 'Redrocks' changed the course of the redoubtable dwarf's life, and he now seeks to build himself a new tomorrow. Previously a player character.

Vamon, Brakur. Deceased. Brakur is a member of the Thieves Guild and younger brother of Kravak Vamon. Killed by Melaine Deepglade.
Vamon, Kravak. Also known as the "Bloody Handed", Kravak is a member of the Thieves Guild and a known extortionist and murderer.
Vezmok. Deceased. Orc shaman of the tribe known as the "Red Talons of Vezmok". Killed by Targoth Calimor.
Vor'dkan, Zheltry. Born of drow and elf and bred in the dark depths of the drow city of Utuk-Vrah, Zheltry was groomed by her matron and sisters to one day be a high priestess. Then a raid she led changed her life forever and set her on the path to discovering the ways of Bez. Previously a player character.

Whiteshield, Igen. Owner of the Sunrise Inn and friend and former adventuring companion of Mavik Suresteel. His inn is one of Starport's more respected establishments.
Wildthorn, La'Orian. An elf and childhood friend of Aelric Heartseeker, who lost his sight saving Aelric from the claws of the green dragon which attacked their village twenty years ago.
