Dolly's Drug Emporium.

The World of Progress sells many things. It is true that in some places almost anything can be bought for the right price. SLA legislates licences to sell virtually anything and for the right price, the right licences can be bought. Dollys' Drug Emporium has capitalised on this and sells legalised Narcotics to the few that can afford them.

"It's so freaky seeing a legalised drug nest. Provided they don't use 'em off the premises there's little we can do"
- Officer Travis. Monarch Police Force.

What's inside...

Dolly's is located in a busy commercial sector of the Warren part of Downtown. It's location just indoors of the main outside market place affords it a high publicity with the locals. It's blue and purple swing doors are a welcoming sight to it's patrons and the decor continues it's theme once inside. The floor is plushly carpeted in a deep purple Shagpile and stays that way as all patrons are forced to remove shoes upon entry. The twin 20ft dolls that are suspended from the ceiling and slowly rotate lend the place a surreil atmoshphere from the start. Booths line the perimeter of the downstairs rooms and are politely curtained off to prevent prying eyes. The open space that takes up most of the space in the main room is mostly seating with huge Purple comfy chairs and sofas. The support pillars are cushioned and decorated in a soothing blue.

Upstairs are the two function rooms :

The first is for the wealthy :
- By charging a simple 200U for the privilage of being allowed into the room it removes the low level drug abusers that are addicted to the more 'unsociable' narcotics.
The second room is the Party Room :
- A group can hire this room and opt for a no-interruptions night of Narcotic bliss. Whether the group is a close nitt group of Ebons looking to share a night exploring feelings whilst calmed under Beat or a group of swingers looking for a fun night of Personal Interest induced bliss, the management care not. They pay their money and will not be disturbed for as long as they've booked the room, usually one full night.

Customers can buy any legalised drug over the counter no questions asked. For those able to pay with Credits, SLA issue drugs are available. The 'bar' area is behind a reinforced bullet proof glass screen and transactions are money first then receive drugs through an armoured chute. The staff working here(30 in total)are all very well trained as Doormen and can administer first aid if needed. The owner tries to run a reputable business cateing for those who have need of his services.

Games Master Information.

Dolly's is a legalised drug shop. People are entitled to buy (not sell) drugs on the premises and all the paper work is correct. There is a big reason for this. Dolly's is wholly owned by Dept of Pharmacology and they use the low life Patrons to test out some new mixes and cocktails of drugs. Once regular users have been isolated they are the perfect targets for agents who can offer them fixes off-premises and slowly ween them onto stronger and stronger drugs. Agents in the pay of Dept of Pharmacology look for next generation Frothers, low-life test subjects and scapegoats that can be abused once their habit is controlled from Dolly's. The manager (Carl Puerez) is a SCL 4c.6 Operative but looks non-descript. He proves useful to investigations and keeps a clean legal sheet whilst providing a very usefull service. All the Doormen have the same stats as DN converts but with +2 STR, Rank4 Unarmed Combat and Rank 3 First Aid. They all carry side arms (CAF). Carl keeps a KPS Mangler beneath the conter.

"Two hits of Alice please."
