What is a Jade BPN?

When the Department of Ebon Affairs has cause to investigate an issue that has known Ebb involvement a Jade BPN is the standard way of assigning Operatives to deal with it. The information given to the squad accepting the Jade can be extensive or in extreame cases non-existant.
The squad involved must have at least one Ebb user on active duty in order for them to be eligable for the BPN. This is enforced because due to the nature of the investigation an Ebon will be needed to complete and/or clarify certain areas of the case. Disciplines such as Detect are invaluable on these assignments.

Typical Assignments for a Jade.

• Locate Feral Ebon.
• Investigate Cult.
• Track Missing Ebon.
• Investigate display of Ebb from non-SLA person/persons.
• Investigate possible Glyph card sales.

Although these assignments are typical cases that warrant a Jade, anything involving the bizaar can be granted Jade status as Ebon investigation will, typically, have a greater chance of success.

Success in a Jade BPN will bring the Ebon/Brainwaster considerable prestige from their peers in the department and may even grant them choice assignments depending on the level of skill displayed in concluding the BPN.
