Firearms Legality

Here is everything you need to know about the legality of the types of firearms you, as an operative, are likely to find on Mort.

• CAF weponry.
  This covers all CAF such as Wild Boar, Steel Death etc. It does not include, upgraded CAF weaponry. Any civillian in breach of this should be detained by SHIVER authorities. Any civillian openly using this weaponry against anybody owning an SCL card is to be suitably stopped.
  A typical fine would be 10 times the weapons worth.

  Non-CAF weaponry.

  This includes all weapons ranging from Pistol weapons to MAL assault Cannon. Only Operative persons owning a valid SCL card are permited to own this type of weapon. Any civillian found in posesion of this type of weapon is to be dealt with as above. Although lethal force may be used it is prefferable to capture subjects alive for interrogation.

  Illegal Weaponry.

  This includes both Dark Night and Thresher weaponry as well as Grenade Launchers and Flame Throwers. Any Civillian found in posession of weaponry falling into this class is to detained as above unless found using said weaponry capture is prefferable. Any Operative found in possetion with no intent to submit the weaponry to SLA authorities is to be detained. Any Operative found using this class of weaponry against SLA forces and/or property is to be terminated. Full bonus will apply in this instance.
