The PlainsYou walk through the portal not knowing what to expect. A light flashes, almost blinding you. A cool, fresh feeling washes over you and when the light clears you are standing in a bright sunny meadow. The grass is waving gently and a wind brushes past you. You look around, squinting slightly because of the bright sunlight. A little ways away from you is a patch of extremely tall grass, it seems to be taller then you are. Turning around you see a small waterfall that tumbles into a burbling stream. Smooth rocks on the stream bottom, makes a chuckling sound. This spot is so peaceful you wonder what you could be doing here. You wonder if you are supposed to find your own way to the inhabitants of the meadow. Turning around again you take a seat on a large rock near the stream and the waterfall facing away from the tall clump of grass. Watching the stream chuckle by puts you in a happy daze. This place is so peaceful, you could just..... fall..... asleep. You yawn, this place is making you extremely sleepy. Curling up on the sun warmed rock you decide that catching forty winks isn't a bad idea. You hear a rustle behind you and sleepily look over. A giant mulitcolored thing is coming out of the tall glass. You turn your head away, and close your eyes. Then you jerk your head towards the immense presence coming out of the vegitation. You back up as the huge black stallion with a brilliant yellow mane walks towards you. He stops just short of the where you are sitting. You hope he isn't here to harm you, because if he is you are dead. You notice that your head is about level with his knees. Standing up on the rock you are about level with the stallions broad shoulders. You sit down hard on the rock, shocked into silence. The stallion narrows his eyes looking down at you, his golden mane ruffling in the breeze. "Hail", he says in a deep voice. The multicolored stallion looks you over, he seems to be examining your very soul. A few second later he speaks again,"I see wanderer, that you wish to visit those who live here. I see that your intentions are good. You are not a poacher, or a hunter. If you where you would be in deep distress at the moment." You don't doubt that, he continues without stopping," I am guardian of this place. Should you even try to take one of the creatures, I will be there to stop you." He makes sure you get his point before moving on. "There are two ways you may meet the inhabitants of this place. The first is to follow that path over there. It ends at at the home of the first part of a tour. Every occupant after that should point you on your way." He stops speaking and looks at you. "And the second?", you ask timidly. You think over the three choices........
