#1 - The Baby From Krypton - (2/12/40)

Krypton is doomed as the Sun's gravitational field pulls the giant planet to its doom. After the ruling Science Council rejects the findings of its greatest scientist, Jor-L(Ned Wever) and Lara(Agnes Moorehead) send their infant son Kal-L to Earth in an experimental rocket ship just minutes before Krypton is destroyed.

#2 - Clark Kent, Mild-Mannered Reporter - (2/14/40)

Grown to manhood during his rocket flight from Krypton, Kal-L lands on Earth and discovers that "On this world of yours, men would call me a Superman." After saving a professor(Jay Josten) and his young son("Junior" O'Day) from a trolley disaster, Superman assumes the identity of Clark Kent so he can study and better understand the people of Earth. Kent is hired as a cub reporter by Daily Planet editor Perry White and learns of The Wolf's(Ned Wever) plans to destroy a western railroad train.

#3 - Keno's Landslide - (2/16/40)

While Superman flies 200 miles to avert a train wreck, The Wolf changes his plans and strikes a day early against the railroad. His henchman, Keno(Arthur Vinton), dynamites the mountain pass, creating a rock slide that destroys the railroad trestle. The Wolf plots vengeance against Clark Kent.

#4 - Clark Kent -- Captured By The Wolf - (2/19/40)

The railroad conductor(Julian Noa) is committed for psychiatric evaluation after he reports seeing a flying "superman" and Clark Kent discovers that a train has disappeared and learns of a new threat from The Wolf. Investigating the mystery, Kent walks into The Wolf's den and allows himself to be captured.

#5 - Clark Kent -- Imprisoned - (2/21/40)

The Wolf and Keno reveal their sinister plan to wreck the Silver Clipper, and imprison Clark Kent in an impenetrable prison of concrete and steel. Superman escapes and rescues the kidnapped railroad crew, but will he be in time to save the train?

#6 - Menace To The Silver Clipper - (2/23/40)

The Silver Clipper hurtles toward disaster. Clark Kent phones in his first story to editor Perry White and receives his second assignment: investigate the existence of the mysterious figure called Superman! Kent and White receive a threatening phone call from The Wolf's employer, The Yellow Mask(Julian Noa).

#7 - Dr. Dahlgren's Atomic Beam Machine - (2/26/40)

Dr. Dahlgren's(Ned Wever) atomic beam weapon is stolen by the Yellow Mask, who boasts that he will destroy the Daily Planet building and all inside. Clark Kent meets reporter Lois Lane in her first appearance on the radio series.

#8 - Atomic Fuel Cylinders Stolen - (2/28/40)

Dr. Dahlgren tells Lois that the stolen atomic beam machine requires special fuel cylinders without which it is useless. Are the fuel rods really safe, or is there a traitor in Dr. Dahlgren's household?

#9 - Threat To The Daily Planet - (3/1/40)

Clark Kent must stop The Yellow Mask's plot to destroy the Daily Planet building, but Lois Lane's life will be forfeit if Clark Kent interferes again.

Investigating a suspected arson case as Clark Kent, Superman rescues a young woman from a four-alarm blaze in the offices of the North Star Mining Company.

Clark Kent isn't allowed to visit the injured girl rescued by Superman from a blazing inferno, but her life is endangered when the arsonists discover she still lives.

June Anderson(Marion Shockley) tells Clark Kent of the North Star Mining Company's fraudulent business dealings, but her brother's life is endangered when swindler Bartley Pemberton(Ned Wever) learns of the whereabouts of the incriminating documents.

The arsonists set a fire in the freighter's munitions storeroom. Can the Man Of Steel rescue Captain Anderson(Frank Lovejoy) and obtain the hidden evidence before the ship becomes a blazing inferno?

#14 - The Plane To Canyon City - (3/13/40)

Superman rescues Captain Anderson and turns over the missing documents to editor Perry White. Learning that Pemberton is on his way to destroy the North Star Mine, Clark Kent leaves for Canyon City with Captain Anderson and June.

#15 - Left To Die - (3/15/40)

Icy wings endanger the plane as it flies over dangerous mountain peaks, and Clark is thrown off the wing when the plane goes into a nosedive. The swindler's attempt to blow up the North Star Mine leads to an amazing dicovery.

#16 - The Prison Riot - (3/18/40)

While interviewing the warden(Julian Noa) of San Miguel's model penitentiary, Lois Lane is trapped in the dining hall when Keno and The Wolf start a convict uprising to cover their prison breakout.

#17 - The Steam Plant - (3/20/40)

After Superman stops the prison riot, The Wolf and Keno hold Lois Lane hostage and set a deathtrap for Clark Kent.

#18 - The Wolf Vs. The Yellow Mask - (3/22/40)

After escaping from San Miguel Penitentiary, The Wolf challenges The Yellow Mask's authority in a secret underground hideout--a confrontation only one will survive. Driving to investigate mysterious events in Direville, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are warned to stay away by a strange driverless car.

#19 - The Secret Empire - (3/25/40)

Lois Lane is trapped as the Direville Bridge collapses into the river. How can Clark Kent save Lois without revealing his true identity as Superman? The Yellow Mask is revealed to be behind the catastrophes plaguing Direville, and demands a million dollar ransom be paid to the mysterious Secret Empire.

#20 - Million-Dollar Ransom - (3/27/40)

The Yellow Mask threatens to drown "every man, woman and child in Direville" in 24 hours unless he receives the ransom, and unveils his ultimate weapon. Clark Kent and Lois Lane journey to the Harley Dam, unaware that they are driving into a trap.
