Well, I've finally gotten around to making an answer page for my quiz. It's supposed to give you the answers when you click on the buttons...and it used to do that, but something's wrong and it's easier to make an answer page than to go through all that code and find the problem. ok, I'm lazy...so sue me...

Vena was the name of Need's student. She was also Need's first bearer....

2)In The Silver Gryphon, what color were the wyrsa's eyes?

The wyrsa's eyes were white.

3)In Arrow's Fall, how many drams of argonel does Talia drink?

Talia drinks fourteen drams of argonel. When Evan the trader brings her the argonel and the arrows, he says, "The bottle holds fourteen drams, and it is full." (Arrow's Fall, page 186) Talia drinks the whole bottle, minus a few drops.

4) Who sent the assassin after Melles in Storm Breaking?

Jehan sends an assassin after Melles in Storm Breaking.
"In the end, he managed to get what he wanted without too much of a mess, and the answer made him even more disgusted than he had been at the beginning of the futile exercise...Duke Jehan. An idiot with just about as little sense as the cretin he'd hired." Storm Breaking, page 263.


5)What was Kerowyn's hobby?

Kerowyn's hobby was jewel carving.

6)In Arrow's Flight, who was the Herald that loved music? (Hint: he gave Talia and Kris new uniforms after they were trapped in the snowstorm.)

Tedric was the music-loving Herald.
"You seemed so interested in which of us was the musician that I thought we'd repay you for your hospitality," Kris said, taking out the harp and beginning to tune her.
"One doesn't hear a great deal of music out here," Tedric replied, not troubling to keep the eagerness from his eyes. "I think it's the one thing that I really miss by being stationed here. When I rode circuit I was always running into Bards." Arrow's Flight, page 255.


7)What color were Kethry's eyes?
Kethry's eyes were green. Tarma's nickname for her was Greeneyes.

8)What were the names of the Morning Stars on Velgarth?

The morning stars are named Lythan and Leander.

9)What was Winterhart's real name?

Winterhart's real name was Reanna.

10)What was the name of the king that Urtho served before the Mage Wars?

Urtho served King Leodhan.
"...she had been humming a song that had been the rage at High King Leodhan's court..." The Black Gryphon, page 329
Urtho served the High King before Ma'ar came, and took over after he collapsed.
