.....As a young girl in Nazi occupied Greece, Helena made the best out of the situation, but her older brother Michael used the occupying forces to his advantage, selling information about Greek freedom fighters and aiding them, much to the ill-health of his mother. Finally accusing him in front of their mother, Helena and Michael's arguing caused their mother to die of heart failure.
