.....Young Jimmy Leong was taken under the wing of Greg Sanders, The Vigilante, after helping him with a case in New York's Chinatown. Sanders raised the boy, as he was taught judo and hakido by the proficent youngster. The two later joined The Seven Solders of Victory, where Stuff found another role model in Wing, another Chinese youth.
.....As Jimmy entered into adulthood, he fell in love with a young woman who made ends meet by posing in adult movies, and Jimmy went to her aid, only to be killed by Bugsy Siegel, a West Coast gangster. The Vigilante later exacted revenge at great personal cost. While recuperating, Jimmy's younger brother, Victor, came under the care of Greg Sanders. When The Vigilante reappeared, Victor took up the name Stuff and dressed in traditional Chinese garb, as opposed to the westernized dress of his late older brother.
.....In 1949, both The Vigilante and Stuff were thrown into the past on the last mission of the Seven Soldiers. Both landed in the Old West, where Greg and Vic made their homes and carved out a legend for over 20 years, until rescued by a bumbling Johnny Thunder. ( They were to have been pulled back to the present after only spending weeks, not years in the past. ) With Greg now, retired, Victor quickly aquired enough higher education and now administers both the Last Round-Up Restaraunt chain and Greg Sanders' movie catalogue.
..... Neither Stuff possessed any super-human abilities, but both were proficient in several martial arts, including Judo and Hopkido, as well as several kung-fu techniques.
