Buffy Summers. Your average, everyday schoolgirl with lots of friends and a date here and there. Wrong, very wrong. Buffy is definitely not average or everyday, that's ruled out right away- because Buffy is a vampire slayer. "What?" you say. Simple definition- a different girl born in each generation that destroys vampires and other evil that plagues this world. Sure, she has friends, but more like 4 or 5, if you include her Watcher, Rupert Giles. Sure, she has a boyfriend- had a boyfriend. Angel was his name. You meet him, and he seems to have a good, normal life. Problem #1- he's, well, dead. OK, a vampire; Problem #2- vampire+vampire slayer= not good. It can lead to some trouble.

Buffy has a way about her- it might be her stubbornness, possibly her need to do things her own way. Whatever it is, she's different. Not in the sense that she's a VS, but more like she's different from all of the past vampire slayers. It's a written rule that only the Watcher and the Slayer herself (plus the vampires) are allowed to know about the slayer's existence. Buffy's friends- Willow, Xander, Cordelia, Oz- they all know. Well, with Oz, it's OK, because he himself has some stuff to do with evil. Three days out of the month, he's a werewolf. Not your typical everyday kid, either.

Buffy was sent to Sunnydale "The Hellmouth", California to fight the forces of darkness and rid it of it's vampires and demons. Three in particular- Spike, Drusilla, and... Angel. Angelus. First, he was bad. Then he got a curse placed on him; he got a soul. Now, once again, he's bad; the curse was lifted. Not bad- more than that. More than evil. So, Buffy was forced to break up (duh) and lose her beloved Angel.

Spike & Dru, the one couple who just won't go down. Spike has a nasty history of killing Slayers, as for Dru- she's mad. Driven crazy by Angel in his former evil days; he killed everyone close to her, and made her a vampire. Spike, Dru, Angel. They're some vamps you really don't want to mess with. But don't get me wrong. Although these guys won't be put down so easily, Buffy just won't be put down.
