Think snob, think pretty, think self centered, think valleygirl. Well, that's thinking Cordelia Chase. She might have all of these qualities, but that's just the outside. It's hard to tell what's under all that makeup and snottyness, but whatever it is, it's not like the outside. She's not exactly Miss Humanitarian, but she definitely is not a bad person, despite her shallowness. Cordy is one of the main allies of Buffy Summers, I guess you could call them sort-of-friends. She has many friends, but lately she's spending more and more time with Buffy, Willow, Giles, and especially Xander, her current boyfriend.

Cordelia has lived in The Hellmouth a long time, but only recently in her life from Buffy has she found out that monsters are real. Now she helps destroy them- her "whatever" attitude proves to be not always bad; she's pretty good at kicking people. But she only kicks the bad guys. So, when you think Cordelia Chase, think snob, pretty, blah blah blah, but also see beyond that, and see the good person that she really is.
