Assistant
Director Walter Skinner A wild card in the X-Files deck,
Assistant Director Skinner holds a tedious position
between the truth and the Syndicate's machinations. As
Special Agents Mulder and Scully's immediate superior,
Skinner has been able to protect his employees from some
of the more hazardous schemes thrown in their path. He
has, however, also been an unwilling partner to the
Cigarette-Smoking Man, destroying evidence and hiding the
truth. Though A.D. Skinner is one of the few people to
whom Scully and Mulder can turn, he remains untrusted by
the pair. |
Special Agent Fox Mulder Originally assigned as a criminal
profiler in the Violent Crimes section of the F.B.I.,
Special Agent Fox Mulder underwent a transformation
following regressive therapy. Scarred by the abduction of
his sister, Samantha, "Spooky" Mulder chose to
use his connections and knowledge to attempt to discover
the secret behind her disappearance. Inevitably, this all
consuming hunger for the truth drew him to the X-Files,
much to the chagrin of the Syndicate and his own family. |

Special
Agent Dana Scully Assigned by Section Chief Scott Blevins, Special
Agent Dana Scully was to report on the scientific
inconsistencies of the X-Files. Through her shared
experiences with Agent Mulder, Dana has become less skeptical
of the truths which have been shown to her through their
investigations. Utilizing her scientific training and
inviolable Faith, Dana has been able to uncover many
facts that Agent Mulder would have otherwise missed. She
has proven herself to be an irreplaceable and valued
member of their team. |
Special Agent Jeffery Spender Fresh
from the academy and itching to make a difference, Agent
Spender is yet another errant employee for Assistant
Director Skinner to have to watch over on his team. Agent
Scully's investigation of his mother, Cassandra Spender
(a.k.a. Patient X), revealed a possible history of alien
abduction, though he vehemently denies it as a hoax.
Irritated with the constant interference of Agents Mulder
and Scully in his cases and the investigation of his
mother's abduction, Spender has been tempted by offers of
assistance from his father, the Cigarette-Smoking Man. |

The
DAT Tape When
a computer hacker, known only as The Thinker, breaks into
secret Department of Defense records containing original
UFO intelligence files, he unknowingly sets off a series
of events that continue to effect the X-Files to the
present. Mulder gains possession of the information which
the Thinker has placed on DAT tape. Agent Scully is able
to ascertain that the information on the tape, encrypted
in Navajo, reveals information of secret multi-national
testing programs involving "the merchandise".
Krycek steals the tape from Skinner and is able to flee
from the Syndicate by parlaying its secrets. He
unknowingly releases the alien awareness, known as the
oilien, when he sells information to the Piper Maru for
the oceanic excavation of a wreck. |
Implant
Chip One of
the many implant devices which have been found in the
women of MUFON and Agent Dana Scully herself. It is
unclear whether these chips are of human or alien design,
however, the host of the chip appears to be unable to
survive the extraction of the foreign apparatus. All
previous extractees have succumbed to similar untreatable
cancers. It is through the intervention of CSM and
Michael Kritschgau , that Agent Fox Mulder was able to
break into underground Pentagon vaults and acquire a new
chip which seemingly may have caused the remission of
Dana's fatal cancer. |
