Jennifer Drake is a writer who had vivid dreams of era's long ago. She wrote them down in book forms which were published, but what she didn't know was the fact that those dreams where her heritage. She is a descendant of the great Lady Guinevere. She was kidnapped by Mordred and Morgana and misled to pull the sword Caliburn from a piece of Martian rock. Through that she restored the dragon lines, magic reappeared. She now fights Mordred and Morgana, stopping them at every turn, with the help of Merlin. At her second encounter with Mordred, she got the sword Excalibur which was handed to her by the Lady Guinevere, who served as the Lady of the Lake at some point of time. Exiled to a convent following her adulterous relationship with Arthur's friend and champion Lancelot, King Arthur's wife pulled the legendary sword of power Excalibur from Arthur's bastard son Mordred's corpse in the aftermath of the battle of Camlann, where Arthur and his knights were slain. Torn between the Christian faith sweeping the land and the ancient wisdom of the Druids, Guinevere tries to unite the different Briton clans against the invading Saxons from across the sea. Betrayal rules the day as the Knights of the Round Table are thrust into civil war that destroys the peace and unity that allowed the Knights of Camelot to fend off the barbarians threatening to overthrow the isle. Guinevere defeated the Saxons by defeating Cheldric in single combat, afterwards she used the Ark of the Covenant to destroy the Saxon fleet. Shortly after this Guinevere returned to the Isle of Avalon. She is a mysterious woman who knows about the prophecies of Merlin, also known as the Pendragon in Black. With this knowledge she keeps an eye on Jennifer, watching her as she battles the forces of evil. Send from the future, by the High Priestess, to find the Spear of Destiny. With the Spear she will be able to defend the Daughters of the Goddess, in their war against the Lowlanders, machine making men. After Jennifer had pulled the sword from the Stone she was teleported to Stonehenge, where she also awakened Merlin, still weary of the ages he spoke to Kerunnos, an earth spirit, Merlin asked him what had happened in the ages since he had left. Merlin then took Jennifer to Thorney Island, to the Westminster Abbey, their the encountered Mordred and Morgana for the first time. Merlin tried to warn Jennifer not to interfere, but to no avail, she confronted Mordred in battle with resulted in a big explosion. Mordred and Morgana had disappeared after the smoke had disappeared. Merlin saved Jennifer a few times after that incident. Knight of the Round Table under Arthur and sole survivor of the Battle of Camlann at Slaughter Bridge, Percival remained loyal to Arthur's Queen and became her champion. Christian by birth, Percival at time struggles with his convictions as Guinevere summons ancient power and sorceries to aid them on their quest. Sworn to the cause, Percival is willing to die for her as they fight to regain the former glories of Camelot. A Knight Templar, like his ancestors, he tried to warn Jennifer not to pull Caliburn from the stone but failed to convince her. His blood was later used to retrieve the sword Draconis, for this he had been hung upside down on a crucifix. Rescued by Jennifer and Merlin, a later died when he got run through by Mordred, while Lancelot was kissing Jennifer. Arthur's cousin and the Duke of Cornwall, Constantine became Arthur's chosen successor when Arthur died without leaving an heir to the throne. Supported by the Catholic Church, Constantine betrayed Guinevere by sealing a pact with the Saxon warlord Cheldric to jointly destroy the armies loyal to guinevere in exchange for lands in the eastern province of Kent. Constantine's army was defeated by Guinevere's army, Although Guinevere was outnumbered, she still managed to reach Constantine and with a single blow defeat him. She severed his head from his body. Morgana seduced Merlin, and made him fall in love with her. But al she wanted was his power, his magic. She has always been a thorn in Merlin's side, and now with the Dragon Lines restored she's back with a vengeance. Is a rich playboy who wanted more from life, with the help of Morgana, he kidnapped Jennifer to restore the Dragon Lines. Fully prepared for the return of the Dragon Lines, he had a priest tell Jennifer she should pull the sword Caliburn from the Martian rock. Jennifer defeated him at their second battle, but he was saved by Morgana. King of the Saxons, Cheldric is known as the Ravager for his ruthless aggression against the Britons, the Frisians and the Gauls in an attempt to increase his land holdings and wealth at the expense of all those who fall under his axe. Brother to Colgrin, who was slain by Arthur at the Battle of Mount Badon, Cheldric seeks to revenge his brother's honor by destroying Guinevere and all resistance to his control of the Isle. He Died in single combat with Guinevere, his own pride was his undoing.
