Mach-1 turns himself into police custody as the media and Hawkeye watch on. Hawkeye talks to the media, as does Edwin Cord saying he will take steps to put the Thunderbolts in jail.

The Thunderbolts outside of a cabin that serves as their base encounter Charlie Burlingame who followed Hawkeye by placing a piece of himself into Hawkeye's bag of arrows on his back and tracing the piece back to its source. Cyclone of the Masters of Evil and Citizen V watch on as everything takes place.

Charlie turns into Charcoal and the Thunderbolts recognize him as the one who attacked them in Thunderbolts #19 and attack him. After Hawkeye finds out that Charcoal never wanted to be with the Imperial Forces of America who he helped out last him he attacked the Thunderbolts, Hawkeye stops the fighting and they talk until the US Agent and the Jury attack. During the course of the battle the cabin the Thunderbolts were staying in gets destroyed much to the dismay of the spying Citizen V and Cyclone.

The Thunderbolts defeat the Jury leaving US Agent the only one left standing. The Thunderbolts leave as the US Agent talks about Edwin Cord better fitting the Jury to take down the Thunderbolts next time.

The Masters of Evil watch a report on the Thunderbolts at their headquarters while Hawkeye makes a surprising announcement. Hawkeye says the Thunderbolts are going to track down Crimson Cowl and her Masters of Evil or Die trying. The Crimson Cowl is surprised, as are the Thunderbolts.
