Aldeberan is Desert world with a very Dry Hot rocky climate. The Majority of the population is oriented around the Lawless startown of Hellblight. The land is divided up and ruled by various noble factions that often feud and viciously compete with each other.  These nobles derive power from the amount of wasteland controlled and more so the amount of wells owned. Control the water you control the populace. 

One of the key productions on this barren planet is a rare berry that thrives in this climate that produces a very popular liqueur. The berry bush is called a "qualmara" and the very intoxicating fluid it produces is Qualmarin Brandy. The only other productions here are Mostly black-market items, But Small pockets of quality crystals have been found that make excellent jewelry and are used in communications equipment and robotics which is the other chief production in the region. Looking for a robot or droid or perhaps trying to find yours that was stolen?

The world harbors a great deal of pirates and criminals.  Some of these rise to become nobles and leaders of what are basically gang factions or corrupt corporations.  The scout base here is the only sign of imperial influence it too is effected by the high crime rate and the scouts troublemakers seem to get stationed here.
