Cable: The Dayspring of the Future
Born Nathaniel Summers, Nathan Dayspring Askani-son was the child of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Madelyne Pryor (The Goblin Queen and clone of Jean Grey). His life began in many was in Mr. Sinister's lab, when Sinister realized that a cross between the genes of Scott and Jean would create the perfect weapon in which to destroy the powerful Apocalypse. But his plans met a tremendous setback when Jean was seamingly killed by the Pheonix entity. That wasn't going to stop Sinisters plans. He cloned Jean and introduced her to Scott. They were eventually married and had Nathan. After the Inferno crossover Madelyne was dead and Scott was reunited with Jean. Together they began to raise Nathan until Apocalypse came into the picture and infected Nathan with a Techno-organic virus. The virus would have killed him if not for the interference of the Mother Askani, who took him into the future where there was technology sufficient enough to keep him alive until his telekinesis was powerful enough to keep the virus a bay. 1000 years in the future Cable was trained to become the savior of his people. Dubbed the Askani-son he took upon the destiny of the one who would defeat Apocalypse. It was at this time that Nathan met his future wife Aliya, an Askani warrior. He also adopted a son, Tyler, who would later be used as a pawn of Apocalypse. Following his evil clone Stryfe into the past, Cable met up with a team of soldiers, (Domino, G.W. Bridge, Hammer, Kane, and Grizzly included) Six Pack. He then went on to reform the New Mutants into X-Force as a way to insure that if he were killed that his fight would still continue. His mission did not end though, even after being reunited with both his mother and father. He is still being faced with his destiny.
