Problems that every hero faces

In comic books, I have realized that a character cannot be made impersonal. Even the Man of Steel, Superman, was given character defects that gave him a human personality. At the beginning of the series I'm sure that they never intended for the guy's worst enemy to be his ego. It was these character flaws that led us all to beleive that we are all only human and that nobody is perfect.
At that note, I now give you the stories that make paper and ink come to life:
