The Connor Continuum
By
Guinevere W. MacWench

Hi, and welcome to my lengthy Connor fanfic.  This was a year and a half work-in-progress, but now at last it's done. (I think. *g*)  My fanfic in some ways has little to do with the Immortal Universe, but rather with basic human emotions...and maybe some proof that Immortals are as human as (if not sometimes more than) the average mortal.

This fanfic does contain swear words and some suggestive language and adult themes.  I have tried to rate it as I go, but as I really haven't been to the movies in a while, I don't really know where the dividing lines are anymore.  Overall, I'd say it'd get an R rating; any sections that go beyond that will be labeled as adult content.  Honestly, I'd not recommend these stories to anyone under 18, mainly because I wrote it with an adult audience in mind. However, it's much more a story about people interacting, not about so-called "adult situations."  That's all I'm going to say on this subject.

Chapter 1: Introductions Chapter 10: Family Matters
Chapter 2: Dreaming Chapter 11: Innocence's End
Chapter 3: Confessions and Revelations Chapter 12: A New York Minute
Chapter 4: Discovery  Chapter 13: Breakdown
Chapter 5: Heartache Chapter 14: Coping
Chapter 6: Nothing Else Matters  Chapter 15: Starting Over
Chapter 7: Auld Lang Syne  Chapter 16: Promises Kept
Chapter 8: Seeds  Epilogue: Legacy

The highest and deepest thanks go to Mr. Christopher Lambert for his talent that breathed such wonderful life into the character of Connor MacLeod. I can't credit the man enough...every time I watch the movie, I can't even imagine someone else doing the job he does with this character. Blessings upon you, Mr. Lambert.

Special thanks go to everyone who has been encouraging me and, especially, Riot, Varian, Angus and McCat for their encouragement and beta reading. Also much thanks must be given to Chris's site  The Connor MacLeod Homepage,  which kept my pause button from falling off on my VCR to keep track of all the Highlander movie stuff!  It is truly a great resource.  Kudos and thanks also must go to Jason Henderson, author of the Highlander novel Element of Fire, for his great description of Connor's "staccato laugh."

Disclaimer: The character of Connor MacLeod and the Highlander premise belong to Davis/Panzer Productions.  I have only borrowed them for a time, and hopefully return them none the worse for wear.  And I, of course, belong to me.  The character within is named Guin, and there are times when she is very much like me, except I know more about Immortals than she does (LOL).
