The X-Aliens, the Kilaaks, the Simeons, and the Nebula M Spacehunter Aliens join forces and try to take over earth. The X-Aliens use King Ghidora, and the Simeons build a better Mechagodzilla, equipped with an additional weapon, a bomb that can explode and destroy almost anything. The Kilaaks build a Fire Dragon 2, and the Nebula M Spacehunter Aliens use Gigan. They all attack earth at once. Mothra and Battra team up to fight the space monsters, but the Kilaaks gain control of them. Then Mothra, who is telepathically communicating with the Shobijin, breaks free and kills Battra. Then from behind Gigan and the Fire Dragon 2 kill her. Meanwhile, on Infant Island, an egg hatches, and a baby Mothra appears. The Shobijin tell her not to attack the space monsters, because she will die and another egg will not hatch. The space monsters then attack Faro Island, where King Kong and Gorosaurus defend the island, but they only succeed in destroying the Kilaaks and the Fire Dragon 2. Then Gigan and Mechagodzilla kill them both. Out of the water come Rodan and Godzilla, who will fight the space monsters till the death (of the space monsters).
