Origin: Matt Murdock was raised in Hell's Kitchen, a part of New York that was ridden with crime. His father was a has been boxer named Jack Murdock and his mother left when Matt was very young. His Father told Matt that she had died so he wouldn't know she abandoned them. Matts father cracked down on him about his studies and he wasn't allowed outside very often. One day he saw a blind man crossing the street, and he was about to be hit by a truck, so Matt dove into the street and tackled the old man to saftey. The truck was carrying chemicals for a waste company (Flash Fact: According to old Ninja Turtles continuity, the chemicals that blinded Matt also turned the turtles into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Just a little know fact, I thought I'd share with you......Sorry, so sorry). Matt was hospitalized and they discovered that he was blind. But Matt figured out that he could hear, taste, feel and smell things that normal people couldn't. He also developed a radar that formed a 360 degree area around him. Matt was trained for a little while by another Blind man named Stick. He eventually became DareDevil: The Man Without Fear.
Side Note: At first I didn't like Kevin Smith's DareDevil, because of all of the change he made happen in the first issue of his run. But I think it has kind of grown on me, He has goo character interaction, I don't like all of this chosen one crap, but I'll live. Hopefully.......
