Origin: Kyle Rayner was in a bar one night and went into an alley for some fresh air. A small blue alien named Ganthet approached him and gave him a ring. Kyle became Green Lantern in hopes of changing the world. When the villan Major Force killed his girlfriend, Kyle moved from L.A. to New York where he has been fighting crime both with and without the JLA.
