Origin: Born on the planet Krypton, Kal-el's father Jor-el was a brilliant scientist. He discovered that the planet was going to explode and everyone on it would be killed, so he put his son Kal-el into a rocket egg and blasted him towards a planet called Earth. When he arrived there he was found in the bottom of a crater by Jonothan and Martha Kent who raised him to be the hero he is today. When he reached maturity he found That he could run faster than all the boys on his football team. He discovered that he had more powers. He traveled around the world using his powers to help people, He was in Metropolis when a Space plane was headed for disaster. Clark flew under it and saved it. When Lois Lane filed her report she called the mysterious savior a Superman, a few years later he found he was an Alien that got his powers from the Earths Yellow sun. He has used the name Superman to Fight for Truth, Justice and the American way over the years.
