The Stable
A Collection of Chimera
Greetings!
In the stable here we have a display of original sentient Chimera for you to browse. They make excellent companions, friends and occasionaly foe. Help yourself, and enjoy!
NOBILITY MUST-HAVES
- Flying Cat
This small creature is about the size of an average housecat, but comes in about every color imaginable. Most are firendly, but all have the superior attitude of a cat, and in conversation are almost always condescending and cynical. An able creature, this cat has intensified the already unnerving gaze of a cat into something lethal, and the dreams of Alice in Wonderland fans have imbued this cat with the power for a Cheshire Cat. However, if treated with respect, one can be befriended and will be an excellent sentry for rewards of baked fish, fresh milk and other such delicacies. Another position these cats enjoy is that of court room advisor. As they see everything that goes on in the room, you can feel safer as well as know that you have a wise confidante that will keep your secrets better than any fae.

- Talking Fish
Everyone has a fishtank, right? Now consider filling your freehold's tank with these fish. About 9" long and with the face of a human, these engaging fish are the epitome of manners and court etiquette. They are also reminiscent of Douglas Adam's Babel Fish (for those of you familiar with Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) in the fact that they can translate any given language into the one commonly spoken at your court for you. Essentially think C-3P0 turned into a fish and not as annoying. They're packed with useless information that they'll dispense to you at any given time that no one really knows how they learned it, but it always turns out to be true.
REDES: Befuddle, Sense Banality, Wyrd
BANES: Enimity (rude people)
ATTRIBUTES: Strength 1, Dexterity (in water) 5, Stamina 1, Charisma 2, Manipulation 3, Appearance 2 (for a fish), Perception 3, Intelligence 5, Wits 2

GLAMOUR: 4-7; WILLPOWER 3
- Courier Mice
These little creatures are almost better than a Sluagh when you need a message delievered. The size of a large mouse, Courier Mice have a large pouch on their stomach that can fit a disproportional amount of what ever the mouse chooses to put into it. Your freehold probably already has an extensive system of their tunnels, and you don't even know it! Their forte exsists in delievering messages within a single building, so these are ideal if your freehold is larger in size. With them, you can always be assured that your message is delivered promptly and safely, as these mice can render themselves invisible should they so choose.
REDES: Hide, Scuttle, Difficulty Reduction (avioding being caught)
ATTRIBUTES: Strength 1, Dexterity 4, Stamina 3, Charisma 1, Manipulation 1, Appearance 1, Perception 4, Intelligence 2, Wits 5
ABILITES: Alertness 2, Dodge 5, Kenning 1, Stealth 5
GLAMOUR: 3; WILLPOWER 5
MORE TO COME!!
And let me pose you a question to ponder as you leave... If humans can dream, and therefore have glamour and the possibility of a fae self, should not animals who dream be the same? Can not your beloved dog or cat have a fae self? Ponder that!
You're one of the impaitent type, aren't you? Well then, here's the path
back to The_Main_Hall. Good-bye!
