I've been listening to Mary Ellen Wessels, aka MEW, aka "Nuclear Wessels," for almost ten years now. She's got one of those voices that, simply put, is beautiful. No other way to describe it. I sorta knew she had come out with a CD a few years back, but I never had a way to contact her. Enter Persis Thorndike, of Interfilk fame, who sold me some of her CDs. They sold fairly well, but I didn't realize advertise it. Now I'm doing it. MEW is one of those people who could sing the phone book and make it sound really good (just don't try it, OK, Mary Ellen?).
