Startup Sounds

Songs about computers and technology sung and played by a human being

This is the album cover.

Someone on rec.music.filk mentioned this guy in northern California who did his own CD about his Macintosh computer and was trying to sell it on-line. Well, I figured I'd check it out and see what it sounded like. Turns out that this artist, John Swerdan, did nearly all the instrumentals and all the vocals. Turns out he has a pleasant singing voice. The instrumentals are a little glitzier than what you'd hear on most CDs, save for, say, Dr. Jane Robinsons's and Bernd Felsberger's.

Here's the play list:

Startup/Hard Drive Neutron Bombed-Out Zone Quickdraw Bill
E-Centric Poor Sad Mac Running Out of the Past
Cyber-Lies Keep Up With the Times Acronymity 1.01

For $15.00, I think it's worth it.
