Clearbrook was always calm, quiet and gentle, just as her namesake suggests. She was content with her life and following The Way. Her lifemate One-Eye, her son Scouter and the Wolfriders were everything to her. All that changed when One-Eye was killed in the war with the Trolls for the Palace of the High Ones. At first she was numb, almost catatonic from the shock of seeing her lifemate murdered. When she finally recovered her senses she was filled with such an overwhelming sense of blood lust that even the Wolfriders feared for her mental and spiritual health.
Slowly she has regained much of her old self. She will always mourn the loss of One-Eye but as is The Way a Wolfrider goes on.
