Why isn't there an off switch on a baby?
Why can't we make this boy stop crying now?
Why can't I find the off switch on my infant?
If you know, will you please tell me how?

Why isn't there an "Exit" on my baby?
Why won't Alt-F4 do it for the day?
Why can't Control-Q stop this boy from bawling?
You can't leave off from parenting this way.

Why don't kids have energy-saving features?
A program that would blank those screams would work.
I guess kids aren't high-tech frontier creatures.
I guess I'll have to suffer through their quirks.
