Vincent is friendly and cheerful.
Talk with him and you'll make a friend.
He loves fun and joy and he shares his toys.
He'll stick with you 'till the end.

   He's Vincent Lew Griffith. He has eighty frog friends.
   He teaches them to play and how to be nice.
   While some of them read, he tells all of them stories.
   He likes bread with jelly and water with ice.

Vincent loves kitchens and cooking,
especially making a mess.
Cookies, cake, brownies you bake,
but licking the spoon is the best!

Vincent has a good sense of justice,
He knows fair play, and what's wrong from right.
Don't grab, don't tease.  Say "thank you" and "please,"
and let him stay up through the night!

      But sometimes, when he's asleep,
      deep in the night.
      His frogs sneak out to shop and clear out
      all the goods from Debbie's Chocolate Delights.

Vincent lives way down in Florida
where it's muggy and humid and hot.
But he knows that in summer, when outside's a bummer,
his friends the frogs like it a lot.
