Eddie enters an asylum in an attempt to rescue a judge who has been taken there for claiming that aliens are planning an invasion.
Like last season's All About Eddie, this episode gives the usually background Crazy Eddie a chance to take centre stage. The problem is that although Rob LaBelle gives his all, there's not a whole lot for him to do except lie back and scream as Eddie's mind starts to crack under the influence of drugs that have been administered to him. While he does a good job of conveying a gradual breakdown that Eddie is unable to control, the way he triumphs over adversity is more by luck than judgement.
Meanwhile, Cade and Jordan go after the ringleader who is responsible for important people being committed with simple and predictable results. It's all over too easily, and considering Cade's lack of disguise it's amazing that the Gua doesn't recognize him sooner. The two stories don't really meet in the middle, and Eddie's reasoning as to who is the Gua in the asylum is flawed to say the least. The better approach would have been to rate them and see which of his two choices was more attractive. It usually works, and it certainly does this time.
After the revelation that humans are in charge of the asylum, there's no explanation as to why or whether they know what they're doing. There's too much here that isn't adequately thought through and doesn't use the opportunities it has, making it something of a mess.
