Please be patient while this song loads

My way had been blinded
By the tears that were in my eyes
I pleaded with my Father
To answer all my "Why's"

"My child, " He said so calmly,
With love etched in His voice,
"I'll give you all the answers
But you have to make a choice.

You have to choose to trust Me,
And accept that I know best
Somewhere down the road
You'll get the answers to the test.

I know I've sprung upon you
A pop quiz or maybe two,
But the testing of your faith
Brings more patience within you.

My Child, when you're hurting,
I'm right there by your side
I long to give you comfort
And a sheltered place to hide.

I know you want some answers,
To know why things go wrong,
Why a loved one has been taken,
Why the road is rough and long.

My child, I see tomorrow.
I know where goes the road
So keep your eyes upon me,
And I'll help relieve your load."

I've heard His Word from Heaven,
I know my Savior cares
And though my heart's been broken
I know that He repairs.

The scars will always stay
But will lighten through the years
The hurts will still remain,
But soon He'll wipe away our tears.

So when the heartaches worsen,
And darker grows the day
I'll just turn my eyes to Jesus,
And follow Him all the way!
