Episode 26- The Star- Viewing Festival

    Miaka distances herself from Tamahome to avoid losing the last chance of summoning Suzaku. The night before they leave Konan, Nuriko and Tasuki take Miaka to the star- viewing festival to cheer her up.

Episode 27- A Buried Promise

    Suboshi avenges his twin brother's death by slaughtering Tamahome's entire family. The horrible sight came to Tamahome as he entered his home. Tamahome tries to find the muderer of his family and sights Suboshi. Soi, also one of the Seiryuu shiciseishi, saved Suboshi from Tamahome's rage.

Episode 29- The Mystery Revealed

    Back in the real world, Miaka's elder brother Keisuke and his friend Tetsuya has been reading the book and researching about it as well. They found out that a girl by the name of Takiko was also sucked into the book and became the priestess of Genbu. They also discovered that Takiko was murdered by her father and her father committed suicide right after killing her. The reason remains unknown which makes it even more mysterious. Realizing the risks Miaka might be getting into, Keisuke convinces her to return. however, Miaka is determined to finish what she has started so she burned the strand of her hair which serves as a bridge between her and Keisuke.

Episode 30- Flashes of Battle

    The group encounters a bad weather courtesy of Soi. She used the lightning to paralyze Miaka's star warriors. As she is about to zap Miaka with the ligthning, Miaka raises the sword which is lent to her by Hotohori. To their surprise, the sword absorbed the lightning and returned it to Soi! As a result of the massive waves, Miaka,Tamahome, Tasuki, and Nuriko are thrown overboard the ship. They found refuge in a small cave nearby where Nuriko narrated her past.

*Nuriko's past:

    Nuriko had a younger sister named Korin, who looks almost exactly like him. They were very close with one another until one fateful day, while Korin was eagerly calling out his name as she was crossing the street, a chariot ran over her. She died on that very day. From then on, Nuriko decided to live for Korin by dressing and acting like a real woman.
