| Amelia is a family name on
both Paul and Dimity's side of the family, but was named after Paul's
great- grandmother, Amelia Jefferies. The name is Teutonic in origin,
and is apparently derived from the word "amal" which means
"to work".
Joy comes from Paul's Nana (Joyce) and is also the
middle name of his sister and a cousin.
She was born with blond hair, and has been a lovely
baby from the start. She hardly ever cries, just goes to sleep at night
when "we" (Dimity) put her in her cot (even if she is awake).
Consequently we havn't had any sleep troubles! All this can change of
course but we are enjoying it all!
