Rotary
Club of Masambong D-3780 introduces its R.E.S.C.U.E. programs
We are happy to welcome
you to our website. Please feel free to browse our pages and take a glimpse of what a Rotary Club can do when it chooses to focus
all its efforts in improving the way of life of one specific barangay.
The Rotary Club of Masambong, with Club No. 69936 is the
88th club established in District 3780.
We were chartered last June 29, 2005 and we take pride in having made it during Rotary's Centennial Year. We adopted Barangay
Masambong in the first district of Quezon City as our assigned barangay in line with the one club, one barangay policy introduced by
Centennial District Governor George L. Howard during his term.
We proudly
introduce the
ROTARY's EMERGENCY SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY's UNITED EFFORTS (R.E.S.C.U.E. 1) as the club's
signature projects. R.E.S.C.U.E. 1 will be the framework of our activities in Barangay Masambong during the coming rainy season.
After the rainy season is over, we will shift into livelihood development and micro-lending activities. Thus, R.E.S.C.U.E. 2 becomes
ROTARY's ECONOMIC SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY's UNITED EFFORTS. The creation of Rotary Community Corps (RCCs) in the barangay
will be the focal point of the R. E. S. C. U. E. Programs. You may participate in our
FORUM FOR ORGANIZING A COMMUNITY
UNITED IN SERVICE (F.O.C.U.S.)
by joining our eGroup.
Join our ranks
of
Community Development Advocates as we heal the wounds
brought about by poverty, ignorance, diseases, misunderstanding and distrust, and participate in and/or support our various community
development projects in Barangay Masambong, Quezon City. Or you may opt to become one of our
Com-Dev
Partners of RC Masambong.
We still
look forward to continue the Rotary eClubONE3780 cyber club initiative, which represents our pioneering
effort in establishing the FIRST e-Club in the Philippines.
