Dear RC Masambong Member,

Welcome to our club's member's only pages. Here we maintain records of our club's business, through our members only e-Group, RCM3780-MembersOnly.

Membership in the eGroup is subject to approval, and is limited only to club members and duly assigned district officers. Every club member receives his/her own copy of all postings in our e-Group, including those of committees where he/she is not a member. This ensures transparency in all our dealings.

You use your email address and password to register as a member of our eGroup, You may edit your personal profile and preferences on how you will receive notices, and can make changes anytime as you may deem fit.

The Club's plans and programs along the four avenues of service, specific projects in the community, committee reports, financial reports and other pertinent Club issues will be the subjects of major postings in our eGroup.

Your comments and suggestions are encouraged and will be used as basis to further help improve the work of those concerned. Please refrain from using inappropriate language in all our communications. Remember a written word attains permanence. It becomes a glaring reflection of the character of the person who expressed it.

Continuous use of offensive language can be a basis of removing a member from our eGroup, after proper notices  has been served.

Fellow RC Masambong members, let us all help and support each other as we embark in this great experiment of promoting the "one club, one barangay" approach in Rotary community service, through our "focused community development" initiative in Barangay Masambong.

You are also encouraged to log-in in our Forum on Organizing a Community United in Service (F.O.C.U.S. ) eGroup and interact with non-Rotarians who may join in that forum. It is a good avenue to exchange ideas on possible projects that can benefit the community and develop partnerships with other organizations on a per project basis.

Invite your non-Rotarian friends to join us in the forum discussions. The F.O.C.U.S. eGroup is a good clearing house for potential recruits that could be invited to ultimately join our Club.

Onward Community Development Advocates!

Declaration of Rotarians in  Businesses and Prpofessions

The Declaration of Rotarians in Businesses and Professions was adopted by the Rotary International Council on Legislation in 1989 to provide more specific guidelines for the high ethical standards called for in the Object of Rotary:

As a Rotarian engaged in a business or profession, I am expected to:

Consider my vocation to be another opportunity to serve;

Be faithful to the letter and to the spirit of the ethical codes of my vocation, to the laws of my country, and to the moral standards of my community;

Do all in my power to dignify my vocation and to promote the highest ethical standards in my chosen vocation;

Be fair to my employer, employees, associates, competitors, customers, the public, and all those with whom I have a business or professional relationship;

Recognize the honor and respect due to all occupations which are useful to society;

Offer my vocational talents: to provide opportunities for young people, to work for the relief of the special needs of others, and to improve the quality of life in my community;

Adhere to honesty in my advertising and in all representations to the public concerning my business or profession;

Neither seek from nor grant to a fellow Rotarian a privilege or advantage not normally accorded others in a business or professional relationship.
