Sound Level Meter

SELECT toggles between "Line" and "Room SP". "Line" monitors the sound level of sound in the two (left, right) channels being delivered to the active group. This is equal to the recording level when recording master tapes from the console microphone. "Room SP" monitors the sound level delivered to the room speakers.

Teacher's Mic

MIX toggles the mixing of the teacher's microphone(s) into the active audio source. The knob adjusts the microphone gain, which should be set so that the sound level meter does not show red.

Room

TV does nothing. SPEAKER toggles the room speakers, which will project the same audio that you hear through the master console headphones. Please return the volume setting to a low level (1 or 2) when you are done. How is it used?

Monitor

TV does nothing. SPEAKER toggles the monitor speaker (mounted on the console, above the sound meter), which will project the same audio that you hear through the master console headphones. Please return the volume setting to a low level (1 or 2) when you are done.

Auto Transfer

Auto Transfer FAST, NORMAL, and PAUSE are used to copy a master tape onto student tapes. How is it used?
