It's nice to say that The Burning Times are over. Well, they're not. The Burning Times will not be over untill all Pagans are accepted as normal people. This page is my way of helping to dispel the misconceptions people question me about daily.

• Most Pagans, especially Wiccans, DO NOT worship Satan. There is no Satan in most Pagan religions. Satan is a Christian invention unknown to many earlier religions.
  
• We DO NOT kill animals. This is another misconception. To Wicca, the Earth is a living being, one to be respected, not massacred
  
• Wiccans DO NOT do magick to hurt people. Wiccans believe in the Threefold Rule, which states that what is sent outward, returns magnified 3 times. The Wiccan Rede is "If it harms none, do what thou wilt."
  
• The pentacle IS NOT Satanic. The pentacle is a star in a circle, pointing upwards. It has been transformed by the Christians into a Satanic symbol. See above bullet about Satan and remember that the pentacle is older than Christianity.
