Seven Laws of the Sons of
Noach
The Sages of the Talmud say: "Righteous people of all nations have a
share in the world to come." (Sanhedrin 105a). The great Jewish
commentator Maimonides states that this refers to those who have acquired
knowledghe of God and act in accordance with the Seven Laws of the Sons
of Noach (universal mankind):
- the prohibition of idolatry,
- the prohibition of blasphamy,
- the prohibition of murder,
- the prohibition of forbiden sexual acts(incest, sodomy, male
homosexuality, adultery),
- the prohibition of robbery,
- the prohibition of eating a limb from an animal while it is still alive,
- the obligation to establish courts of justice,
