Or if you wish to show philosophically that God is not as I argue, I ask that you first see my argument for God's Existence, including my replies to common objections to the conclusion, the short arguments of Epictetus, and the bit on faith and reason.
I get so much email, I must request these things.
Have you done what I requested? Yes.
No.
If you are Muslim, your Koran is in many places similar to the Old Testament. I recommend reading the above to you also, along with my short essay on faith and reason. It will be relevant to our discussion.

Therefore I must ask that we get past any disagreements about God first. Several difficulties people have with the soul and its eternity are answered in my replies to objections against God's existence. This will save both of us time.
Please click here and read them first. Then, I look forward to your email.

Or if you wish to explore or debate this topic philosophically, I look forward to it. I shall try to convince you through reason that things are not so bad. But first I ask that you make sure you save us both time by reading a few of Epictetus' and Christ's thoughts on this topic and my short essay on faith and reason. That is not too much.
I get so much email, I must request these things.

Whichever religion you believe in, before you email me, please see what replies I may already have available to you, in my work on faith and reason, my proof for God's existence, the few paragraphs of Epictetus and Christ on evil, and the reasoning about what God is like.
If you are Jewish or Muslim, I ask also that you read what I have made available for you here from St. Justin Martyr's Dialogue With Trypho the Jew.
If you wish to discuss Eastern Religions, I ask that you first read the document on Eastern Religions and the treatment of issues surrounding faith and reason. If you wish to argue for a "oneness of religions" or similar relativism, please click here.

Before we discuss the matter generally, would you read what I have made available in terms of my general treatment, Chesterton's wisdom on Christianity's Paradoxes, and my blurb about evil clergy.

Relativism:
If you wish to defend the idea that truth, esp. religious
truth, is relative, i.e. that what is "true for you" is really
not necessarily "true for me," I say that it is "true for me"
that relativism is really true for no one, in which case
relativism really is true for no one.
Please also address the question of whether murder may be quite fine in every case, if truth is relative. I look forward to your response to this, which will not, I am sure, be an argument in the form of popularity contest information, nor mere vague sentiments which have not been thought out. We will have an interesting logical debate, and I look forward to it.
But before you email me, would you read Chesterton's work here on Christianity's Paradoxes. It is highly relevant.
I get so much email, I must request this. Have you done what I requested? Yes. No.
Thanks.
