Keirsey Temperament Test Results

Personal note from Mike L. Griebel: I have tried the Keirsey Temperament Sorter a number of times (about five) with a few weeks in between each, and I have found that my scores are not 100% consistent. I have been typed an XNTJ, INTP and INXP, and the only thing that seems 100% certain is my 90-100% score on intuition. On the graph below you can see the range of my scores.

I take it I'm an iNtp. This is consistent with the results of Furgis Duniho's DDLI Program. You can find more about personality typing on http://sunsite.unc.edu/personality/

In Jungian terms I would say that my dominant function is intuition, which I apply introvertly, while my auxiliary function is thinking, which I apply extravertly. (See Dunihos documentation on his DDLI program for a different opinion; He's an INTP too himself). What does this mean? It means that

  1. Intuition, introverted: Sometimes I just know exactly how things are, although there's no hard evidence. S-types hate that. Often I merely register the facts; the world exists to be understood by me.

  2. Thinking, extraverted: Allright, if you push me for an explanation, I'll apply my logic. F-types hate that. Anyway, when we communicate, I'll always come up with a very long, very complicated, possibly correct explanation of how the...have I lost you? You're probably an F.

  3. Feeling, introverted: Yes, I hide my feelings. F-types hate that. Yeah, I'm working on it. Hm, why are you so interested in my feelings? I'm not sure I like that.

  4. Sensing, extraverted:Sometimes I choose to ignore the realities; as in "No, today's not Sunday. No, I don't have only three days to finish this job. No, I don't have only 5$ for the rest of the month". S-types hate that, he he. Well, you know, it's not really that important how it is; think of how it could be...yeah? Ah, forget it.
