This, can you believe it, is where I spent the first 16 months of my life. No, I wasn't born there, although it is (or was) a maternity clinic.
This is my mother and her husband on their 25th wedding anniversary ("silver" anniversary; they got married when I was 10). If you look carefully you may see a tear in my mother's eyes (that's her on the left); not because she's unhappy, but because according to Danish customs there's about 30-50 relatives, friends and neighboors present. We have come to wake them up. By singing for them. They are supposed to look surprised. Note the honorary port of flowers :)
