"Attendance is a habit.
Good attendance is a good habit."
Clubs with high attendance averages usually recognize that good
attendance is a well developed habit. When a member misses one or two meetings,
a telephone call or a note from the Membership Vice President usually helps
the member to return---reinforcing and
continuing the attendance habit.
Attendance Tips:
1. Provide recognition for good attendance on a monthly basis (with quarterly, semi-annual winners, etc.). 2. Work as a team to improve your club's attendance percentage. Display performance at meetings. 3. Call members during the week. The process of organizing a meeting provides stimulation to attend. 4. Increase functionary roles to provide participating responsibilities to all members. 5. Provide a written program or newsletter reviewing the forth coming meeting with the schedule of participating members. 6. Ask members to be present. |
