New Club Officers elected
1997 Spring Term looks bright for Valley

Experience will play a major support role in Valley's 1997 future. Connie Kadansky, CTM, an active Toastmaster for several years and a previous club president (Chirp n' Choke) was elected president for the 1997 Spring term in close race with presidential contender Robert Zakian, CTM.

Other officers volunteered to continue in their current leadership positions and were elected unanimously. President Dave Hyde, whose experience will continue to be contributed as the Immediate Past President, congratulated the new officers and welcomed their desire to make Valley an even stronger club.

A recent cartoon pictured Ziggy carrying a fishing rod. A camera hung from a strap around his neck. The caption read: An optimist is one who takes a camera along when he goes fishing.

To prove the fish in his story did not get away, our optimist, Dan, brought his photo to the club. For the record: One Blue Marlin, 95 lb., 86," 25 minute fight.
