James Forbush (David, John,Daniel)
Born in Grafton, Mass., January 8, 1758. Married in Boston about 1780, Eunice Brown. Resided in Sutton, Mass. and Roxbury, Mass.
James Forbush of Grafton, Mass. enlisted for nine months to go to Fish Kills, NY in 1777. He was in Captain Warren's company, and Col. Job Cushing's regiment. He was 17 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches in height, and dark complexion. After the Revolutionary War he married in Boston, and settled in Roxbury.
He had the following children:
i. Chebar, born ---1800; married Elizabeth Grapes
ii. Daniel, born ---; married Betsey Leighton
iii. Anna, born ---; married Reuben McEntyre
iv. James, born ---; He died young
v. Lucy A. born in Sutton, Mass. November 9, 1798; married in 1818 in Stark, N.H., Moses Jackson.
vi. Roxey, born ---
vii. Almira, born --- married ----Clark; res. Springfield, Mass.
