A Consecration Ritual for a Chalice

The Altar should be provided with:

a lighted blue candle
a white rose
a cup of white wine
a plate of bread and salt
Incense and burner (the incense should be myrrh, but sandalwood will do as a substitute)
Holy Water
the Chalice to be consecrated

The Rite:

Consecrate a circle.

Face West.

Taking the Chalice in your right hand, with your left hand, sprinkle the Chalice with Holy Water three times .say:
In the Name of the Lady, I purify this Chalice with Water.

Pass it through the flame of the candle three times.say:
In the Name of the Lord, I purify this Chalice with Fire.

Sprinkle the Chalice with salt three times and say:
In the Name of the Lady, I purify this Chalice with Earth.

Then pass the Chalice through the incense three times and say:
In the Name of the Lord, I purify this Chalice with Air.

Holding the Chalice up to the sky, say:
Holy Mother, I call to you in the West, and ask that You instill the Power of Reflection in my Chalice. (see the power of  reflection entering the Chalice)

Holy Mother, I call to you in the West, and ask that You bestow the Receptivity of Isis in my Chalice.(see receptivity entering your Chalice)

Holy Mother, I call to you in the West, and ask that You bestow the Love of Hathor in my Chalice.(see love entering your Chalice)

Holy Mother, I call to you in the West, and ask that You bestow the Stability of Nepthys in my Chalice.(see stability entering your Chalice)

Great Father, I call to you in the West, and ask that You bestow the Passion of Horus in my Chalice.(see passion entering your Chalice)

Great Father, I call to you in the West, and ask that You bestow the Benevolence of Ptah in my Chalice.(see benevolence entering your Chalice)

Great Father, I call to you in the West, and ask that You bestow the Self-Expression of Thoth in my Chalice.(see self-expression entering your Chalice)

Know your Chalice to be the physical embodiment of these qualities. Lower the Chalice. Draw an invoking pentagram of Water over the Chalice and say:
By the Lady and by the Lord,  this Chalice is now a holy tool, purified and consecrated to Your Service. So mote it be.

Wrap the Chalice in blue silk or cotton for storage.

Close the circle and snuff the candle.

Thus ends the rite.
