Witches' Ladder

Knot 9 feathers into cord formed by braiding 3 foot lengths of red, black,  and white strands of yarn while chanting:

Tie one, the spells begun,
Tie two, no power undo,
Tie three, so shall it be,
Tie four, forever more,
Tie Five, the charm's alive,
Tie six, it's magick fix,
Tie seven, now under heaven,
Tie eight, work winds of fate,
Tie nine, to my design.

Secure the ends of the cord together and hang high in a room where carefree  time is spent.
