Herbs

Herbs are often used in magickal and healing works. They may be used fresh, dried, in oils, teas, tinctures, insence, aromatherapy, potpourri. In magical working herbs can be used to correspond to the day, moon phase, purpose, or recipient as with any other aids you use. Herbs used as insense can also be burned to represent Air (smoke), and for clearing a space of negativity.

Be very careful when gathering herbs wild. Make sure you know exactly what you are harvesting, when and how to do so, and what parts you need. Be careful not to enganger the continued existance of the herb. Also, remember to always thank the Goddess and the herb for its assistance. It is polite to leave a small offering behind.
