circus bullfrog

As of around eight o'clock in the evening of June 12, 1998, this site was re-baptized as Circus Bullfrog. Ye gods, why "Circus Bullfrog" of all things? Well, hold your horses, I've got an explanation for that. For one, this site has grown to include a myriad collection of things, not only stuff that I've written. I thought it would be better to have a site whose name could include everything and anything at all. I also realized that I've been taking life way too seriusly. Life should be fun...and until I saw the covers of Our Lady Peace's Clumsy and Barenaked Ladies' Rock Spectacle, I thought, hey, life is a circus. At least mine is. It's some sort of freak show, I think. I haven't met anyone normal in a long time. But that's okay. At least I can say that I've been meeting really interesting people. And since I didn't want to be the Bearded Lady or one of the midgets, I'm content being the circus bullfrog, much like, say, circus elephants. Not only that, but hey, Bullfrog Writes, as a site name, has become pretty lame to me. Now that I think about it, it was a very straightforward name...to the point of totally predictable...no, let's be honest, it was a boring name. Besides, when you see a site called Circus Bullfrog, you kinda go, "What the heck is that?!" and it makes you curious, probably curious enough to visit it. It would make me curious. And I like it, I really do. I hope that answers questions as to why I changed the name of my site. Don't worry, it'll be the same site, only with a weird name in a fun sort of way. And as always, welcome to my mind.
