A model built on 13 hours of sleep
sits in the middle of the lobby
displaying its crooked lines.
White and sea blue, the structure stands out
from the moss-green paper grass,
a cardboard homage to
some supposedly important national event.
There it stands, a blasphemous monument
to all the ideals of this corrupt country.
For once, we did something right.
Victory, though unrealized, is ours.
