Samuel Diamond's Literary Favorites

"General Science"
First Course

COMMENTS:

This book is a good introduction into the world of science. Back in 1916 they believed that health was of utmost priority. And in this book the second chapter is devoted to staying healthy by being active, keeping clean, and eating properly.

A glossary is located near the back of the book. "Suggestions for Teachers" section is also near the back of the book. A very well organized index is provided.

There is another section at the very back of the book titled: "Laboratory Apparatus" For Teaching Elhuff's General Science. A helpful listing of scientific apparatus for ten students. Overall, this book had a lot to offer the average student back in 1916.
